ABOUT ME

A 3d generalist based in Lagos, Nigeria. who is trying to tell unique animated stories out of Africa using 3D software like blender3D, Iclone7, Character creator 3+, and the power of real-time rendering in game engines like unity and unreal to bring those stories to life.

Being a 3d generalist came to be a result of having to wear many hats in CGI projects both personal and freelance because I have only had the opportunity to work in small teams that have ambitious goals for their ideas.

After successful completion of his High School, Uchenna pursued a degree in “computer science & management ” and graduated in 2015 from the Wisconsin International University College Accra ghana with his thesis “Augmented Reality and computer vision".

He applied and got into an entrepreneurial school for a technology called MEST also in Accra, ghana. Spent a whole year working with 59 smart African minds and learning from the best tutors who came from various parts of the globe and works of life to create viable business ideas by breaking down problems in Africa that can be solved using tech solutions, that will also have global appeal.

Soon as he was done with the MEST training, he moved back to Lagos where he launched his Augmented reality company called seesomthing and built some AR prototypes that got him noticed and into the IMISI3D AR/VR competition where he and his team won the Lagos chapter with our prototype for using AR app to help stop drugs counterfeiting and reduce drug abuse via exposing users to necessary immersive education in local dialects about drugs dosage and side effects.

He later also went on to create game prototypes and apps in collaboration with comic companies in Nigeria and Ghana like comic republic media, letiArts, etc

He also launched other companies and services in the areas of photogrammetry, 3d printing and game design.

He is currently working freelance for clients as a part-time 3D digital arts tutor at wifi combat Academy, Howdemdeydoam tutorials and for NFT art collectors that want custom creations. 

Sharing knowledge is his main focus and he has dedicated the past 5 years in teaching 3d art to teenagers and adults online and offline.
